Since 1973, our Pharmaceutical Business Unit has been involved in the Pharmaceutical Industry building up strong relationship and active networking with many players of the drug supply chain. Several of our collegues are participating to a certain number of professional syndicates and/or working sessions commissions : * IPEC (International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council) : SAFIC - ALCAN SAS is now member of the IPEC with Valérie Laseraz (Life Sciences Division, SAFIC ALCAN Group Coordinator) attending IPEC events and/or liaising with IPEC. * SFSTP (Société françaises des Sciences et Techniques Pharmaceutiques) : SAFIC ALCAN FRANCE Pharmaceutical Business Unit is also involved in 3 SFSTP commissions : - Aude Plantefeve (Product Manager, APIs & Excipients) attending to 2 different commissions respectively called "eCTD" and "Delegation of controls" - Christian Barailler (Pharmaceutical & Synthesis Department Director) participating to the commission entitled "Issues relating to change management" (in dossier variations). Audited and certified by the French Health Authorities (AFSSAPS) in 2005 according to the ICH Q7A guidelines, and having recently declared its activity of distribution of Pharmaceutical Raw Materials to the same Authorities and, capitalizing on its own marketing, regulatory affairs and quality specialists and supported by recognized independent experts constantly anticipating and adapting itself to the changes in its business environment as well as improving and strengthening its internal capabilities and know-how in :
